Tetra Pak:

In this workshop you will use Tetra Pak cartons as printing plates, the irregular shapes and unorthodox appearance creates interest before you even start your design. You will make your image and print it using oil based inks. But there’s a twist… you will also use blind embossing techniques with additional cut out Tetra Pak designs overlapping to create additional texture.

Your Tutor:  Penny Hunt

Penny is a painter printmaker living in the Dales who uses the wild and weather beaten landscape around her for inspiration. Her work is semi-abstract, preferring to show the feel of a place rather than an illustration of a view. Her current work preparing for a solo show is about walking the old pathways, finding the stories behind them and showing items collected along the way… hence the printmaking using rubbish.
