Your Tutor: Sue Leech
Sue’s love of printmaking began in the 1980s while studying for a degree in Illustration at Camberwell School of Art. Throughout her career as an Art teacher she has shared her passion for printmaking with her students as well as continuing to develop her own printmaking practice.
Living in Grange over Sands she is inspired by the gardens and buildings of South Lakeland and often uses her garden as
a source of imagery for her prints. Sue uses relief collagraphy extensively in her printmaking to explore the relationship between colour, texture and pattern, and is always on the look out for new textures to incorporate into her work.
