They are all white, wearing orange shirts with disco collars, black suits with dashed tailoring lines on the outside. Brighton-based Youth Sector’s music is a coiled spring of urgency and unpredictable energy; while lyrically offering a sense of catharsis for the confusion of modern adult life.

Taking influence from art school greats DEVO and Talking Heads, the Brighton 5 piece never revel in bleakness, managing to twist everyday narratives into music that is quite the opposite being upbeat, full of energy and with irresistible choruses you can’t help but sing along with.

Released via Leeds label Dance To The Radio their latest EP ‘Quarrels’ effortlessly juxtaposed a dark reflection of modern British life with undeniably catchy choruses and manic enthusiasm, with the band being championed by the likes BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing, Clash, Dork, Line of Best Fit, Gigwise, DIY and Radio X.

A hugely entertaining live act Youth Sector have played shows and toured with Goat Girl, Darwin Deez, Cheap Teeth, Our Girl, Courting and Walt Disco as well as picking up a bunch of festivals in the UK and EU over the last year.

A stylized treatment of the iconic album artwork from Fleetwood Mac's album Rumours. Mick Fleetwood - a man with a healthy beard and moustache, hair in a short ponytail, and wearing a buttoned waistcoat over a white shirt - stands with one leg up on a small stool. He is holding out a crystal ball and gazing into it. There are two wooden balls hanging between his legs. Stevie Nicks - a woman with long hair and wearing a long flowing dress - is also staring intently into the crystal ball while billowing her cape out.
