Heralded by The Times as ‘Britain’s most adventurous orchestra’, the orchestra pop up in all sorts of places, from concert halls to care homes, collaborating with a wide spectrum of artists: from classical superstars like Martha Argerich to iconic band New Order, and Aziz Ibrahim to Lewis Capaldi. Manchester Camerata opened the coveted Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury in a collaboration with the Hacienda DJs and their Music Director and conductor Gábor Takács-Nagy, who is one of the finest musicians on the planet and a magnet for international artists.

The orchestra will be joined by one of their Artistic Partners, saxophonist Jess Gillam – the first saxophonist to reach the finals of BBC Young Musician and the youngest ever soloist to perform at the Last Night of the Proms. Passionate about inspiring and bringing joy to people through music, Jess invites audiences on journeys of musical discovery through her electrifying performances and eclectic programming. She has been awarded an MBE for Services to Music, a Classic BRIT Award, her debut album was named in The Times Top 100 Albums of the Year and she presents a weekly show on BBC Radio 3 ‘This Classical Life’.
