Be whisked away to distant lands – from the bouncing streets of New Orleans to bustling South African townships and boisterous European beer parlours – by their exhilarating repertoire of tunes drawing on cultural influences from all around the world. With everything from tango to pop combined with distinctive costumes and choreography, you’re guaranteed a truly memorable experience.
BLAST Furness street band was founded in Ulverston in 1998 by the legendary Welfare State International and still features four of its original members! The Peace Artistes have been rocking with rhythm since the 1980s, astonishing audiences at festivals all over Europe, playing for causes and celebrations from political rallies to birthday parties.
